Chenrezig Mantra Banner
OM MANI PADME HUNG: Chenrezig (the Jewel in the Lotus) is the universal mantra of Love and Compassion. When we recite this mantra, we are in fact continually repeating the name of Chenrezig, the Buddha of all compassion and love. This mantra is invested by the grace and power of hte mind of Chenrezig, who himself gathers the grace of compassion of all the buddhas and bodhisattvas. In this view, the mantra is endowed with the capacity to purify our mind from the veils that obscure it. The mantra opens the mind to love and compassion and leads it towards awakening. Each syllable has a genuine effect:
OM purifies the veils of body. MA purifies the veils of speech. NI purifies the veils of mind. PAD purifies the veils of conflicting emotions. ME purifies the veils of latent conditioning. HUNG purifies the veil that covers knowledge.
Likewise, each six syllable has itself a prayer, each syllable has itself the six paramitas, the six transcendental perfections, each of the syllables are related to the six buddhas reigning over the six buddha families and each syllable also links them to the six wisdoms - the wisdom of equanimity, the wisdom of activity, the wisdom born of itself, the wisdom of dharmadhatu, the descriminating wisdom and the mirror-like wisdom. In Tibet, the mantra of Chenrezig was recited by everybody. Its popularity and simplicity, rather than lessening its greatness, confereed on it an even greater value. This was expressed in a humorous saying:
At the beginning, no suffering in not knowing it. In the middle, no pride in knowing it. At the end, no fear of forgetting it.

Shakya Muni Buddha Mantra Banner
TA-YA-THA OM MUNI MUNI MAHA MUNI YE SWAHA: Shakya Muni Buddha, the founder of Buddhist religion, gave up his worldly life to find a solution to the causes of sufferings - to attain enlightment - for the sake of all sentient beings. Buddha personifies the ultimate level of wisdom and compassion. Both his achievement of transcedence and his humaness - for he is often portrayed as a teacher - must be served in creating his image. Generally, the Buddha is represented as an idealized monk, with a set of distinguishing marks that designate his celestial status, such as a cranial bump and a conspicious dot in the middle of his forehead. In the Mahayana form of religion, Buddha's transcendence is marked by him having three different bodies instead of just one: one that embraces the reality of this world, another that rejoices in what can be conceived as heavenly realms of bliss, and finally an encompassing bodystate beyond human conception and coterminous with the entire universe, a body synonymous with the ultimate reality itself. Buddha is neither a creator nor a judge, but one whose example offers path towards self-realization, a path predicated upon the believer's capacity to overcome ego and cravings. Central to Buddha's message is hte gaining of wisdom, which consists of a limitless compassion for others as well as the ability to move towards ultimate goal of freedom from suffering, craving and delusion.

When positive or joyous feelings and attitudes pass through each organ and circulate through our whole system, our physical and chemical energies are transformed and balanced. Even more important than the capability of mantra to heal the body is its power to heal the mind. Mantra gently opens and transforms emotional states, helping us to deal with any situation clearly and directly. It promotes peace, calmness and tranquility in your heart. The happiness you experience is transmitted to others, thus you benefit them as well. One of the best healing meditation is that of the Medicine Buddha who is the manifestation of the healing energy of all enlightened beings.
